Over the past 2 years, POWER-PAC parents have worked with Chicago Public Schools and VOYCE to identify and eliminate “identity-based discipline disparities” in Chicago schools. The Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University facilitated the partnership, which culminated in the publication of the article, Coming Together: Building Relationships and Navigating Conflict to Reduce Discipline Disparities.
