This training teaches how to recruit parents, use COFI’s training curriculum for leadership development, and in-depth exploration of the first year of COFI’s three-year organizing process with hands-on practice.\n\n\n\nTopics\n\n\n\n\nOverview of the The COFI Way\n\n\n\nSelf, Family & Team Goals and Process\n\n\n\nRole of Facilitator/ Role of Organizer\n\n\n\nHow Adults Learn\n\n\n\nRecruiting Parents\n\n\n\nHands-on Practice of Curriculum Pieces\n\n\n\n\nIn-person: October 6-9, 2026, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. CT each day. The first two days of training will consist of the Orientation to The COFI Way. Light breakfast, lunch, and a manual will be provided.\n\n\n\nThe registration and fee payment deadline is September 25, 2026.\nMultiple Registrations\n\nWe offer a discount for multiple registrations:\n\nTwo registrations: $1,800\nThree registrations: $2,500\n\nThis applies when you register for two or three different trainings for yourself, or when you register two or three people for any of our trainings.
