WBEZ spoke to Elgin Leader Ana Argueta about the benefits and challenges of Early Intervention (EI) services. She could see the difference it made on her kids, but she also recognized the system wasn’t perfect.
For example, as a Spanish-speaking family, she felt like interpretation for her children cut down on the full session time. That’s why she wants to see more bilingual specialists.
