I am not alone. There are others I can reach out to for help or support.

COFI Center training has been an amazing opportunity—learning, networking, and most importantly, building meaningful relationships with each other. I came home with such an overwhelming sense of renewed interest in my advocacy work with my parents here in Rochester, NY. I spoke to many of them that were curious about my Chicago trip and the sentence that was (and continues to be) an ongoing theme is: “I am not alone. There are others I can reach out to for help or support. I am so blessed.”

This work can be extremely hard, but also, it can be extremely fulfilling. Thanks to COFI for renewing my spirit and encouraging me to continue to seek powerful parent voices and empowering each one.
