Public Transit Directions
By CTA Train

The nearest CTA train station is Cermak-McCormick Place on the Green Line. It’s about a block-and-a-half to COFI.

By Bus

The 21 Cermak bus: both eastbound and westbound buses stop at Cermak and Michigan. Walk south half a block on Michigan to COFI.

The 1 Bronzeville/Union Station and 4 Cottage Grove buses run northbound and southbound on Michigan, stopping at Michigan and 23rd.

By Amtrak

If arriving at Union Station, take the Green line from Clinton in the direction of Ashland/63rd or Cottage Grove. The Cermak-McCormick Place stop is about a block-and-a-half from COFI.

By Metra

COVID-19 Workshop Policy

The health and safety of participants at COFI Center for Action and Learning workshops are our top priority. COFI is continuously monitoring local COVID-19 trends and will meet or exceed protocols mandated by local governments. By registering for these trainings, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event, which may include, but not be limited to, wearing masks, providing proof of vaccination status and/or providing proof of negative COVID-19 test. COFI will communicate significant policy or protocol changes as they happen.

Our current policy for the April 2023 Workshops is as follows:
  • Vaccination Status: In-Person Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is REQUIRED
  • Mask Policy: Masks are REQUIRED
