Phase 1: Self, Family & Team + Team Building is for people who plan to incorporate The COFI Way, a family-focused parent leadership and organizing model, in their own community groups, schools, and agencies. This training teaches how to recruit parents, use COFI’s training curriculum for leadership development, and in-depth exploration of the first year of COFI’s three-year organizing process with hands-on practice.

Virtual: January 15, 22, 29, and February 5, 12, 19, 2026, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. CT each day. The first three sessions of training will consist of the Orientation to The COFI Way.
The registration and fee payment deadline is December 19, 2025.
We offer a discount for multiple registrations:
- Two registrations: $1,800
- Three registrations: $2,500
This applies when you register for two or three different trainings for yourself, or when you register two or three people for any of our trainings. You can select this option in the payment section below.
Important notes
- To receive the discount, all registrations must be completed at the same time. We cannot issue refunds for individual registrations made separately.
- Registration is non-refundable. We can transfer the registration to another person or credit your registration towards a future training.
- Important note: this training will be capped at 12 participants.
