Phase 2: Community Outreach & Action

At the 3.5 day Phase 2 training, you will learn how to build a parent team and work with them to do one-on-one relationship building interviews, map a community, choose an issue campaign and win tangible victories in their schools and communities. It includes in-depth exploration of the second year of COFI’s three-year organizing process and a community field trip.

The training is scheduled for March 10-13, 2026, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. CT every day except on Friday, when it ends at noon. Lunch will be provided every day except Friday. The registration and fee payment deadline is February 24, 2026. **It is highly recommended, but not required, that you attend Phase 1: Self, Family & Team + Team Building before taking Phase 2: Community Outreach & Action. If you have not attended Phase 1 and want to attend Phase 2, please submit this registration and contact coficenter@cofionline.org for approval.
Multiple Registrations
We offer a discount for multiple registrations:
- Two registrations: $1,800
- Three registrations: $2,500
This applies when you register for two or three different trainings for yourself, or when you register two or three people for any of our trainings. You can select this option in the payment section below.
Important notes
- To receive the discount, all registrations must be completed at the same time. We cannot issue refunds for individual registrations made separately.
- Registration is non-refundable. We can transfer the registration to another person or credit your registration towards a future training.
