COFI/POWER-PAC IL families, supporters and friends, honored guests, and staff gathered together on a beautiful summer evening earlier this month to celebrate COFI’s 25th Anniversary. What a memorable celebration it was!

Here are just a few highlights from a truly perfect evening:

• Families arriving on school buses from around the state and happily greeting each other in person for the first time in a year and a half!
• Emotional and powerful remarks from amazing guest speakers Anna Valencia (Chicago City Clerk) and Tiffany Younger (Director of Policy and Advocacy at Closing the Women’s Wealth Gap) – reminding all of us about the importance of the Power of Parents at the Table
• Parent leaders and children kicking back and celebrating the POWER-PAC IL way – with delicious food and lively dancing!
