Champion POWERFUL parents this Giving Tuesday

COFI Parent Leaders have had a POWERFUL year. We passed a statewide child tax credit for Illinois families, expanded Whole School Safety (WSS) in Chicago Public Schools to invest resources toward healing practices, restorative justice, and youth mental health, and won a low-income discount rate for utility customers in Illinois.

But the work isn’t done. We have big goals for Illinois families in 2025, including our mental health policy priorities, implementing the WSS policy with CPS, increasing funding for early intervention services, and more.
